Charlton arrive at St James’ Park knowing Newcastle have only beaten them once in the last six meetings. Not the sort of thing we want to read prior to this relegation dog-fight.

The Londoners have only won one Premiership game this season and are currently propping up the league with four points. But we are only three points ahead of them, and you don’t need me to tell you what position it would put us should we lose!
