Stephen Carr will be out of contract in the summer and at the moment a move away from St James’ seems the most likely outcome for the Irishman, with a return to London with West Ham being mentioned.

So far talks on a new contract have failed to materialise so it looks as though Kevin Keegan is willing to part with the right-back. So with him having spent many years in London with Spurs a return to the capital would seem the most likely outcome for Carr should he leave the Toon this summer, and rumour has it he will.

Will Carr still be at St James’ next season or will he make a free transfer move to West Ham, or anyone else for that matter?
