In the wake of appointing a man implicated in the same Panaroma fun and games as our former coach, it looks like Kevin Bond has a pretty stonewall case to sue the club for unfari dismissal. His solicitor briefed the media saying:

M’y client is determined to pursue his claims against Newcastle and the BBC in order to vindicate his reputation. We’ve got a claim against Newcastle for the sacking, we’ve got a claim against the BBC for libel, which are both being pursued. No doubt when Freddy Sheppard goes into the witness box to justify dismissing my client, we might have some questions to ask him about why he’s employed Sam Allardyce.’

Mr Bond wants £350,000 from our own Goldfinger, Freddie Shepherd. Or is he Blofeld?
