Bernard: ‘My aim is to play well for the first team again. I would say I am not as fit as I would like to be at the moment in terms of match fitness. I still need a couple more games, but in two weeks or so, I should be at the same level as everybody else.
‘I don’t know if I will be involved against Fulham – I will leave that to the manager. I am going to work hard over the next few days, and hopefully I will be in the squad.’
