Rafa leaves his three new strikers all on the bench!
Newcastle are on the road today, taking on Cardiff City in their first away trip of the new 2018 / 2019 season.
The early kick-off allied with the distance between the two cities makes it a tiring trip for the travelling support who will be looking for their side to earn their first victory of the season.
The fixture computer hasn’t been kind in its selection of our first five fixtures, after losing to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and after the trip to take on Cardiff City, we face consecutive Premier League games against Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, a difficult run of fixtures.
A win today, as we’ve pointed out previously, is imperative and we are now able to bring you the line-ups.
