Over the weekend reports surfaced that suggested Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley had become ‘frustrated’ with the lack of progress seen in the apparent US based consortium talks that have filled the headlines in recent times.
This frustration meant that he was no beginning to make plans instead of the January transfer window with manager Rafa Benitez clearly needing to further improve our first team squad given our start to life in the 2018/19 campaign and the goalscoring issues and options we have, despite recently picking up our first and second wins of the season in games ahead of the November international break against Watford and Bournemouth.
The original report in full can be read by Clicking Here.
Reacting to the claims on social media, most fans seemed to take it with a pinch of salt knowing we’ve had stories like this previously and rarely has anything ever truly come of it.
Been here before. Same rubbish, different window. Broken promises and lies are the norm.

Agreed. Fans are all over the shop in terms of protests. Some saying it's pointless, others struggling to organise, but once Rafa has gone there won't be a need for such platforms as everybody will kick off for sure.
