Newcastle have issued an update regarding ticket sales for a pre-season game and, as expected the fans have reacted negatively, again.
The club’s official Twitter page stated the tickets for the pre-season match with Hibernian are available to season ticket holders with 10 or more away points.
The campaigns to boycott games appears to be working because it was only a few days ago the offer was to people with 20 or more points.
And with the departure of Ayoze Perez and Dan Barlaser’s loan move many supporters have been asking whether there be any players left to take part in that match.
Some of the fan-base were slightly cheered up by Luke Edwards’ Tweet contradicting an earlier report that the club wanted to appoint Roberto Martinez as manager.
However, that does not appear it would be enough to win the fans back judging by their reactions on social media, some took to Twitter to share their reactions to the ticket update.
One stated ‘that’s more points than we’ll get this season’ whilst another felt they are an ‘absolute disgrace of a club’ for the way they have been treating the supporters.

No communication on takeover, no manager, selling our better players, no investment in new players, all this 6 week before season starts yet your increasing ticket prices and selling the most expensive strip in the league.

Why don’t you just make it zero points? We are not going. ????♂️#nufc

Be advised, you may have to play up front for the second half if you buy a ticket
