No, he didn’t, Wigan shipped 79 goals last season, only bettered by Burnley on 82 goals against, and they, erm, went down!
Bramble played 35 games last season third highest appearance by any of the Wigan squad, oh yes, he was outstanding, s e v e n t y n i n e goals, so Sunderland fan’s must accept that he contributed to the second worst defence in the country last season and at 750k, (reported) he does represent value for money, not least for the likes of Rooney, Drogba and our very own Andy Carroll…haha
I look forward to seeing Youtube clips of the Bramble Files in Redn and White stripes, with a bit of luck, David James might flap at an erratic back pass and watch in agony as the ball flips passed him, but better still.
