Plenty of Newcastle United fans have been howling at former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys after the latest takeover update.
According to the Mirror, Saudi Arabia plans to bid for the Premier League television rights and neutralise any concerns over their alleged broadcast piracy that has delayed their bid to buy the club.
This follows calls from the likes of Keys and Amnesty international to block the move from the Public Investment Fund (PIF), who have had a £300m deal accepted by retail tycoon Mike Ashley.
Will PIF takeover the club?
Yes
No
Although all of this has been thrown into doubt after The Guardian suggested that the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will deem PIF responsible for the illegal streaming of pirate television of Premier League matches.
With this in mind, supporters pointed the finger at Keys and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he is loving seeing two birds killed with one stone.
Wow. They really are operating at a whole new level. Baffling. This wild ride has just flipped the nitro switch.

Best thing about this, if it happens, is for Keys to be out of a job. Poisoned hairy dwarf! https://t.co/sBSOBU3T9z

I’m very much enjoying this attitude of ‘if there’s an issue
we’ll just buy it’ #NUFC https://t.co/2XJVPvGzmp pic.twitter.com/CJ3vWtm4vI— Chris Wake (@Wakes1980) May 27, 2020

NUFC getting rich and Richard Keys losing his job could be the greatest ‘2 birds with 1 stone’ ever https://t.co/BSPVP8zDp1
